The source of these data from 1820 to the present is the Bank of England's "Three Centuries of Macro Data."

For real GDP, use the series titled Chained composite measure of GDP at market prices. Chained volume measure £mn, reference year 2011.
For nominal GDP, use the series titled Composite estimate of nominal GDP at market prices £mn,
For population use Population in 000s United Kingdom 1820+ (including S Ireland to 1920)
The Deflator, and nominal and real GDP per capita are computed.

            GDP data for the UK before 1820 can be found in the book, British Economic Growth, 1270-1870: An Output -based Approach, by Stephen Broadberry, Bruce Campbell, Alexander Klein, Mark Overton and Bas van Leeuwen (Cambridge university Press, 2015). and are used with their permission.
